Minneapolis Maternity Photographer
I usually prefer to shoot the majority of my maternity photography sessions outdoors, but we often do not have that opportunity during our cold MN winters. We took the whole session inside at my Minneapolis studio and shot a style that my client and I loved. This can be a challenge in a studio setting and made me have to get a creative with props and poses. I don’t do the typical studio backdrops for maternity sessions. I want the photo session to look romantic, soft and feminine. I do not want the clients to look at the camera and say “cheese.” I want them to be in the moment and focus on the beautiful mom, her precious bump, and the bond between the family. I want a more natural, “unposed” look. I think we achieved the look and I love how all her photos turned out. Erin and her fiancee were so sweet and so natural to work with!
